Yachts sailing from north bound – Port Said
They will arrange a pilot to guide the yacht into the Yacht Club in Port Fouad. Suez Canal Authority will send correspondents to take measurements of the yacht. This will be set up between the agent and Suez Canal Authority.
Suez Canal Authority will send a pilot to take the yacht from the Yacht Club at Port Fouad to Ismailia. Military ships transit through the canal especially British and State fleets. During that time ships/yachts are delayed. Suez Canal Authority will reschedule convoy to transit in or out of the canal once the Military ships have cleared.
Yachts sailing from south bound – Suez Port
When the yachts sails back up from the south the same procedures incited above apply.
If the yacht transits back into the canal within six months the transit will be free.
